This 12-volt PMDD starter replaces the original Hitachi unit with matched specifications for the DF40Q, DF40T, DF50Q, DF50T, DF60T, and DF70T models. The compact permanent magnet design provides efficient cranking with minimal battery draw while the direct drive engagement ensures positive flywheel contact. Features 8-tooth pinion with 28mm gear outer diameter and counterclockwise rotation. Three M8-1.25 threaded mounting ears plus two additional M8-1.25 threaded holes in the commutator end housing. Replaces Suzuki 31100-87500 and 31100-99E-00.
